Art restoration of "Lorenzini Head" with El.En. laser

The “Lorenzini Head”, Etruscan masterpiece of 480 B.C. and first example of using of Apuan marble, is now at the National Archeologic Museum in Florence after a restoration work.

The restoration was made using two lasers of El.En. Group, one of which - Eos 1000 Lqs- was donated to the Museum.

Thanks to them, Daniela Manna was able to clean the head and the detailed hair from limestone that forbade to appreciate the volume of the head. It was also possible to remove some modern at not relevant paiting.

The Archeologic Museum of Florence can now using the instrument for other restoration work on its masterpieces of etruscan, roman and egyptian art.

Paolo Salvadeo, Manager Director of El.En. S.p.A., said: “We are doing this kind of activity all over Italy, especially in this particular moment when we need to restart, but we have always done it also internationally”
