Paolo Peruzzi, Head of Regulatory Affairs at El.En. SpA, has been officially appointed Convenor of Working Group 4 (Medical Lasers) within IEC Technical Committee 76, the International Electrotechnical Commission responsible for global standards on laser product safety and performance.

This prestigious role recognizes Paolo’s expertise and leadership in the international technical standardization landscape. As Convenor, Paolo will coordinate the group’s activities, provide technical guidance, and foster consensus among experts from around the world.

Recently, Paolo was also named Co-Convenor of Subcommittee 62A, which focuses more broadly on electromedical equipment.
