El.En. S.p.A., through its laser technology, is able to restore priceless works of art to their original splendor without even touching them.

“At the end of 2020,” said Paolo Salvadeo, General Manager of El.En., during an interview at the Forbes Leader studios, “we were certified by the Parisian Superintendency for the conservative restoration of Notre-Dame. We operated both inside the cathedral and in a parallel laboratory using our equipment. The French authorities recognized the quality of our technologies, which were able to clean several parts damaged by the black smoke caused by the devastating fire of April 2019.”

Now the restoration work will continue, with French President Emmanuel Macron aiming to return the legendary cathedral to its former glory before the next elections scheduled for 2022.
