The restoration of the Stories of Saint Francis, frescoed by Giotto in the 14th century in the Bardi Chapel and presented today at Santa Croce, is an ambitious project that brings together an extraordinary combination of expertise, resources, and cutting-edge techniques. 

The intervention has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Opera di Santa Croce and the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, with the vital support of the Fondazione CR Firenze and the contribution of ARPAI.
