“School never ends” for the Vicenza-based company that involves a first group of collaborators in a training course aimed at improving internal communication and operational flows, thanks to games and unusual tools.
“Training and Innovation” is a winning combination for ASA that continues its development strategy by focusing on continuous personnel training. The numbers also confirm this: compared to 2024, in fact, the Vicenza-based company specialised in the production of laser and magnet systems for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the human and veterinary fields, has increased investments in this sector by 7%. The objective is twofold: to contribute to improving the technical skills of its collaborators and, at the same time, their personal growth.
“Alongside technical training to implement the professional knowledge of our resources – explains Giulia Sossella, ASA HR Manager – we have also structured courses focused on soft skills. Bringing out the talents of each individual is a priority for ASA, both to give our collaborators a work environment that is valorising and attentive to their needs, and to create effective and empathetic teams”.
With this aim, the company already began last year to design some “unconventional” training sessions because of the tools employed, with the aim of promoting the simplification of internal flows in terms of communication, organisation and operations.
“We have continued on this path in 2025, organising a course for a large group of collaborators that is useful for making connections between them more agile, so as to facilitate communication between colleagues and, at the same time, to learn to know each other better”.
A goal achieved by replacing pure theory with a lot of practice: slides and traditional paper documentation give way to dice, Lego bricks, Dixit cards, Canvas, cube stories and post-it notes which, in addition to encouraging the involvement of the participants, have allowed simplifying the understanding of even complex paradigms. The methods used during the courses have in fact made it possible not only to firm up critical issues, but above all to “build” the most suitable solutions to address these.
“A company that has made innovation its credo could only rely on innovative methods for its training. In addition to giving people the opportunity to interact through games, the path we have structured has the merit of providing us with new interpretations and “unconventional” perspectives to approach problems. The feedback collected from participants also convinced us of the quality of the initiative, which will certainly continue with other meetings”, comments Damiano Guidolin, General Manager and CEO of ASA.
