On World Physical Therapy Day on 8th September, the Vicenza-based company concludes the first edition of its welfare initiative, launched in 2024 and implemented in collaboration with Fisiolab 8.14 to promote the physical well-being of its employees.
ASA's welfare initiative to help improve the physical well-being of its employees ends on 8 September 2025, coinciding with World Physical Therapy Day (World PT Day). In the name of health protection and prevention, the company from Arcugnano that specialises in the production of laser and magnetic therapy systems for physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the human and veterinary settings, offered its employees a musculoskeletal screening and, if necessary, the development of a specific intervention plan.
Thanks to the collaboration with Fisiovan 8.14 – a mobile physiotherapy clinic created by Fisiolab 8.14 and certified by the local health authority, editor's note – company employees were able to check their physical condition so they could take preventative action. In some cases, the intervention also involved the use of instrumental therapy, entrusted to some ASA devices already in use at the clinic.
“We are satisfied with this project, which has garnered widespread support from our employees, as the data also confirm. More than 60% of employees have taken advantage of the service, – explains Giulia Sossella, ASA HR Manager - which consisted of 4 sessions dedicated to carrying out the therapy. A result that already numerically underscores the appreciation received by this initiative, which is also supported by another intervention aimed at promoting well-being”.
In the spirit of physical well-being, in addition to the physiotherapy sessions directly within the mobile clinic, ASA has organised – at its headquarters – postural gymnastics sessions that taught participants simple exercises that they can also do at their desks, to improve their muscular condition.
