Laser restoration of Basilica di San Miniato al Monte

El.En. Group has contributed, through its laser systems, to the restoration of the Cappella del Cardinale del Portogallo in the Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, in Florence.
One laser has been used for the removal of an altered oil wall painting in which they are represented the Angels (Angeli), an artwork of Piero and Antonio del Pollaiolo. In addition to that, for the first time, the laser technology has been used on glazed ceramics of Luca della Robbia, representing the Four Cardinal Virtues together with the Holy Spirit, for the removal of altered paintings and the discovering of the original golden leaf.
We are glad to cooperate again with the Friends of Florence, and take part to the restoration of the most important artworks in our City.
